I have been a licensed Child Care Educator since 2002.  I have over 35 years experience with children starting with babysitting jobs as a young teenager and later raising my own children (Michael born 1998 and Cole born 2001). I am a Professional Certified Educator of a Large Family Child Care  with the license capacity of 10 children and have earned my CDA in Early Childhood Education.  As a Licensed Educator, I have passed a CORI check and stay in compliance with my Child Care Certification by attending child-related educational workshops year-round.  I hold and maintain both First Aide and  Child and Infant CPR certification. My home is visited on a regular basis by the EEC to ensure the safety of your children while in my care.

 

As a Large Family Child Care Home, I have a Licensed Assistant with me at all times that there are over six children.  A Licensed Assistant is also here if there are over 3 children under the age of 2 or over three children at any time under the age of 15 months.

 

I believe that parent/provider communication is key to a successful childcare relationship.  I provide a healthy, safe and loving home-like environment for all children where they can learn and grow on a daily basis.  My policies are in place to ensure a peaceful environment for all parents and children as well as assistants, outside instructors and myself.
